McGrath Amphitheatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot that’s almost like a hidden gem in Cedar Rapids? McGrath Amphitheatre is pretty much the go-to place for live music and cool events since opening back in 2004. It’s not just your average outdoor venue either; they’ve really stepped up their game with interactive art installations that make hanging out here more than just listening to a band. I mean, in 2020, they even streamed a concert online and pulled in over twenty thousand viewers, no small feat! The sound and lighting in the lower bowl are genuinely impressive, making you feel like you’re right there on stage. VIP tickets? Yeah, they come with perks like premium parking passes, which, honestly, makes getting in and out way easier after the show. The venue’s easy to find too, especially if you’re coming from the east, just follow the new bridge crossing the river and you’ll see it on your left. Whether you’re into big-name acts like Jefferson Starship, catching a comedy show with John Mulaney in the VIP sections, or just looking for a budget-friendly night out with Cypress Hill, McGrath Amphitheatre has got you covered. Trust me, it’s a solid spot for an unforgettable night, and hey, don’t forget to check out their seating chart to pick the perfect spot for your vibe.
